| 8.2 | Psychologists avoid vexatious notifications and baseless malicious claims and make notifications and claims only out of genuine concern for public safety. Effective practice means the psychologist: (a) raises genuine public safety concerns with the proper authority, locally or with the Board, and meets mandatory reporting duties; and (b) does not make malicious complaints or vexatious notifications about other practitioners, which may be regarded as professional misconduct or unprofessional conduct and lead to regulatory action.
