Health Practitioner Regulation National Law on the standards library
A registered practitioner does not knowingly or recklessly claim, hold out or use a title suggesting registration or qualification in a profession or a division of a profession (for example the enrolled or registered nurse divisions, or dental divisions) in which they are not registered (not an offence for the practitioner but grounds for action); and no person makes such claims about another person (offence, same maximum penalties as s 113).
- Register extract showing profession and division for each clinician against the job title used
- Position descriptions distinguishing enrolled nurse and registered nurse roles and titles
- Enrolled nurse rostered and badged as a registered nurse
- Dental hygienist described as a dentist in patient correspondence
