Registered NDIS providers, every profession. Unregistered providers are not bound by these Rules.
Civil penalties were raised and new offences added by the latest amendments; the plan management changes start on proclamation. The provisions this product cites are in force.
An application for registration (or to vary it, s 73M) is made in writing in the Commissioner's approved form with the information and documents required, and further information is supplied within the period in any notice (at least 14 days). A person must not give information or a document in or connected with an application knowing it is false or misleading in a material particular (s 73D; civil penalty up to 10,000 penalty units for a serious contravention by an NDIS provider, otherwise 120; Criminal Code Part 7.4 offences also apply). A misleading application is also a ground to suspend or revoke registration (ss 73N, 73P).
