Ahpra and the National Boards

Registered occupational therapists and physiotherapists. Not psychologists (the Psychology Board has its own code from 1 December 2025) and not speech pathologists (not registered under the National Law).
A review of the shared code is under way; the June 2022 code stays in effect until a revised one is published.
When giving information about their work history, the practitioner (a) provides accurate, truthful, verifiable information about their history, experience and qualifications, and (b) does not misrepresent them, their position or history by misstatement or omission. (References for colleagues are covered in 10.2.)
- CV and job applications consistent with verifiable employment records and qualification certificates
- Credentialing file with primary-source verification of qualifications
- Gaps in employment or past conditions left out of applications
- Titles or qualifications claimed that cannot be verified
