NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission
NDIS (Code of Conduct) Rules 2018, Compilation No. 1 (F2024C00048), in force 19 December 2023
6 October 2026, Federal Register: latest version on 6 October 2026
Every NDIS provider and its workers, registered or not, every profession.
Every Code-covered person promptly takes steps to raise and act on concerns about matters that may affect the quality and safety of supports and services provided to people with disability. Providers foster an environment where participants, families, advocates and workers feel safe to complain or report, operate effective complaints and incident processes, investigate and take disciplinary action, and cooperate with external investigations; workers report concerns through the provider or directly to the Commission.
- Complaints and feedback register with dates of receipt, action and outcome
- Incident register and investigation reports, including disciplinary outcomes
- Whistleblower or speak-up policy naming the NDIS Commission as an external avenue
- Staff meeting or supervision minutes showing concerns raised and followed up
- Concerns raised verbally by workers never recorded or acted on
- Participants not told they can complain to the NDIS Commission
- Retaliation or roster cuts after a worker raises a concern
