Where the Commissioner requires remedial action within a set period, an internal investigation in a specified manner and timeframe with a report, or an investigation by an appropriately qualified independent expert engaged at the provider's expense with a report, the provider must do so, and must give progress or outcome information to the person with disability (or representative), and to others with consent, when required.
