Who it applies to

Registered NDIS providers and applicants with occupational therapists delivering the support. Guidance from the NDIS Commission on the evidence an auditor asks for.

Registration groups the NDIS Commission's list associates with a occupational therapist
  • 0111 Home modifications: experience with, and an understanding of, the concepts and limits of AS 1428 and other disability access standards, applied to the person's needs and the plans.
  • 0128 Therapeutic supports: experience in the profession, and evidence of clinical supervision and professional development as the profession requires.
  • 0135 Custom prosthetics: experience with the specific customised technology provided or assessed.

The clinician roster (Practice plan) keeps, for each occupational therapist: the registration renewal date, CPD logged against the Occupational Therapy Board minimum of at least 20 hours a year with at least 5 interactive (C-1), insurance and screening dates.

Requirement, our statement of the clause

For occupational therapy the evidence is registration with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia. For therapeutic supports the provider adds experience, supervision and professional development; for home modifications (0111), understanding of AS 1428 and other access standards; for custom prosthetics (0135), experience with the specific technology.
