Each registered physiotherapist (not students or non-practising registrants) completes at least 20 hours of CPD a year in activities that directly maintain and improve competence in the chosen scope of practice. First-time applicants in Australia need not meet it on application; a physiotherapist registering part-way through a period completes five hours for each three months of registration remaining.
