Requirement, our statement of the clause

Knowledge, skills and professional behaviour keep developing for the whole of a working life; the practitioner keeps them up to date so as to stay within competence and scope of practice. CPD is a requirement of the National Law, and the Board's CPD registration standard and guidelines set the detail.

Evidence that typically shows this
  • CPD portfolio meeting the Board's registration standard (hours, activity types, learning plan, reflection)
  • Annual renewal declaration of CPD compliance and the evidence behind it
Common gap to check
  • CPD declared at renewal with no portfolio to support it
  • Activities unrelated to the practitioner's scope of practice
